The name “Sonnentherme“ was chosen because nowhere else in Austria you can enjoy more sunny days.

The thermal spa has an expanse of water of 1.581 sqm. It’s a place for the whole family.

Form the Silent Dome with its peaceful ambience, the transquilising colour design, and the generous pool area it takes just a few steps to the sauna area.

The Silent Dome is separated from the adventure area “Funny Waters”. Access to this area is denied for children under the age of 14. The entrance fee grants access to both the Silent Dome and the Funny Waters area.

The Silent Dome has its own café with a fine selection of cakes and other snacks.

The indoor pool is roofed by a glass-made pyramid-shaped roof structure and has a 205 sqm expanse of water. The depth is 1,45 m. A special place is the grotto. The indoor pool temperature is 35°C.

Form the indoor pool there’s a passage into the outdoor pool with additional 267 sqm expanse of water. The average outdoor pool temperature is 35°C but is decreased to 33°C on hot days.


Like the indoor pool the outdoor pool is equipped with showers, benches, water massage and a small grotto.

Comfortable bunks with sun roofs and many parasols are freely available during the summer months.

The whole area is surrounded by a beautiful rose garden where you can play chess and nine men’s morris for example. The nice pavilion is a shady place and ideal for a game of cards.

The thermal spa’s sauna area offers: three Finish saunas, one vapour bath, one Turkish bath, bio-sauna, Kneipp’s cure, and one dip tank. You had your sauna? Then relax in the sauna garden, the rest room, the terrace or in front of the chimney.

Children have to be at least 14 years old to be allowed to enter the sauna area.
